Rwanda have touched down in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital on Wednesday evening, September 3, ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Super Eagles will battle the Amavuabi at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday evening, September 6.
The three-time AFCON winners defeated Rwanda 2-0 at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, with the brace coming from Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen broke the deadlock in the 11th minute after timing his run to smash home from a perfectly-taken free kick from partner in attack Ademola Lookman.
He got the second goal via a counterattack after latching on to a ball from Samuel Chukwueze and chipping over the onrushing goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari.
The win over Rwanda marked Nigeria's first win in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualification Group C, with Eric Chelle in charge as the third manager.
The West-African giants were without a win in their first four matches with former managers Jose Peseiro and Finidi George in charge.
Nigeria are desperate to secure three maximum points against the Amavuabi before facing the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on September 9.

Rwandan player speaks pidgin
An Amavuabi player is enjoying the moments after his team touched down in Uyo on Wednesday night, September 3.
According to persecondnews, 20 players, the technical crew and officials of the Rwanda Football Association arrived a day after the one-man delegation arrived in the country.
Coach Adel Amrouche led the team as they landed at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos before connecting to Uyo via flight.
The team is still expecting four of their players, namely Phanuel Kavita, Bonheur Mugisha, Jojea Kwizera, and Clement Buhake, before embarking on their first official training.
One of the players on video spoke pidgin English in a viral video on TikTok. He said:
"Abeg o, something for the boys."
Elsewhere, the Crocodiles of Lesotho will face Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein (adopted home ground) on Friday, September 5. A win for the one-time AFCON winner means they will have a total of 16 points in Group C.
South Africa is top of the CAF qualification Group C with 13 points, with Rwanda and Benin having 8 points, while Nigeria has 7 points after six matches, per TnTSports.
Super Eagles stars send message to Nigerians ahead of WCQ vs Rwanda
Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Eagles players have sent a message to Nigerians ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier matches against Rwanda and South Africa.
Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina rallied Nigerians to support the team as they prepare for the challenge.
