Nigerian singer Davd Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has stirred social media after staking ₦68 million on Chelsea's winger, Cole Palmer.

The Afrobeats sensation tipped the 23-year-old to shine against Fulham FC in their matchday 3 of the 2025/26 English Premier League on Saturday, August 30.

Palmer was instrumental to Chelsea winning the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, scoring a brace in their 3-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain at MetLife Stadium in the USA.

Chelsea are currently fourth on the log with one win (West Ham) and one draw (Crystal Palace).

Maresca confirms Palmer injury

Chelsea's coach Enzo Maresca said Cole Palmer will not be available for the clash against Fulham.

According to Football London, Maresca said Palmer suffered the injury during their second match against West Ham last weekend.

The Italian also confirmed that two other players have been confirmed injured and failed to train with the team. He said:

"Cole Palmer is out. Also, Benoit is out, and Romeo is out. The rest are all okay.
"Cole we need to see day by day, and the other two I don’t think are going to be back after the international break. But they are going to be closer."

England manager Thomas Tuchel has excluded Palmer from the squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
