Super Falcons star Christy Ucheibe has raised an alarm over some agents who are seeking young footballers to exploit in the guise of opportunities.
The dream of an average player on the streets, grassroots or even professional leagues in Nigeria and Africa generally is to play football in Europe.

Consequent to this, a few reported cases have been stuck under slavery contracts by agents or even end up in Europe without proper documentation.
Ucheibe raises alarm over ‘evil’ contract
2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations winner Ucheibe shared an image on her Instagram page of a contract she came across, which she believes targets young players.
Some of the terms of the contract include 20% of players' annual salary paid to the manager, and forfeiture of their properties if they break the agreement.
The SL Benfica defender noted that FIFA created the third-party influence and third-party ownership manual to curb agents from having financial and sporting influence over players, which was flouted in the contract.
Fans in the comments section applauded the Super Eagles defender for sharing the valuable information, while a user claimed that the contract is void if it gets to FIFA.
