The 24-year-old expressed heartbreak as the collapsed move dashed his hopes of joining the Italian giants, leaving him to focus on regaining full fitness with Leverkusen.

He appeared on TikTok again and joined the live stream of a random user, who owns a startup business.

Surprised by the number of people joining her live session, the entrepreneur kept asking:

"I think you a very popular person. Please guys do you know this person? I want to talk about my brand. You are a popular person. I own a clothing brand."

After the conversation, the user shared a screenshot of a bank transaction showing she had received NGN200,000 from the footballer.

Boniface responds to critics

Meanwhile, fans were stunned by the player's failed AC Milan transfer, but some female critics on social media intensified the scrutiny, mocking the 24-year-old.

One claimed he lacked professionalism, prioritising social media over football. The striker responded to her comments, saying:

"I saw your wig, shame catch me for you."

Boniface's response has left fans with mixed reactions, with many suggesting he should have ignored the remarks.
