The affected legislators include Alfred Berger, representing Makurdi North; Terna Shimawua of Kian State Constituency; Cyril Ekong from Obi State Constituency; and James Umoru, representing Apa State Constituency.

Majority Leader Saater Tiseer raised a motion of urgent public importance, accusing the four lawmakers of instigating a “needless crisis” within the legislative chamber.
Tiseer’s motion was swiftly adopted by the House, leading Speaker Dajoh to order the Sergeant at Arms to escort the suspended members out of the chambers.
