Akwa Ibom recruitment 2025
Authorities said the 'Arise Youth Employment' portal is scheduled to go live on or before Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Ekpenyong's statement noted that Umo Eno, governor of Akwa Ibom, endorsed the recruitment exercise into the state's mainstream civil service.
Akwa Ibom is a state in Nigeria's south-south geo-political zone controlled by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
The statement reads:
"These appointments span every discipline and cadre—including teachers, nurses, administrators, engineers, scientists, state counsels, technicians, accountants, agriculturists, and more."
It added:
"In keeping with the government's commitment to transparency, all vacancies will be advertised—and managed exclusively—through the ARISE Youth Employment Portal (available at https://employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng). Once applications close, shortlisted candidates will be referred to the relevant Civil Service Departments and interviews and final selection."
