They emphasised the importance of anyone planning to relocate abroad to be prepared for unexpected setbacks.

Another crucial piece of advice they shared was the importance of following rules and regulations.

In their words:

"7 years since we moved to the US. Here's what helped us stay afloat. It gets tough before it gets better. But don't you dare give up. Say yes to opportunities even when you're scared. Always have a backup plan. Things won't always go your way. America moves fast. When you fall, get up fast and keep going. Follow the rules even though people tell you nothing will happen. It will come back for you when filing to become a citizen."
