The man’s story was shared by X user @MasterMaliq, who stated that fellow landlords stood by the man.

He also stated that the landlord’s association helped the man rebuild his house, which was gutted by fire.

The X post read:

“Three weeks ago, a three-bedroom flat was swallowed by fire. His four children and wife were rescued, but the man stood barefoot, helpless, watching everything he worked for turn to ashes. He fainted four times, and the landlord association kept reviving him.

“That same day, one landlord gave up his boys’ quarters to shelter the family. By the following week, the entire landlord association came together, raised money, and began rebuilding the house. Today, they’re already roofing it.
“No one asked about his religion. No one asked about his tribe. They saw a man in pain and chose to stand with him. This is what humanity should look like.”
