According to the man, he had moved back to Nigeria to start up a business, but experienced several challenges, which made it difficult to achieve his aim.
"I regretted my decision. I wasn't expecting that. I regretted my decision. I regretted my decision.
"In fact, I never regret decision wey I take for my life. This will be the first decision wey I do wey I regret. You see, the initial plan there, the initial plan of relocating was okay. I felt I wasn't really feeling this country because of some reasons wey I stated for one of my videos."
Seeing how tough things were in the country and his business failure, the man said he sought the help of his friends to relocate to the UK, and they came through for him.
He tried not to discourage those who might consider relocating to Nigeria, but noted that the country was in a sorry state. In his words:
"So, I thought about returning back. Let me start live and fresh. It's never too late. I'm still a young man, you know, in my 30s. You know, I thought about going back to start afresh. At least, I still have the opportunity to come back.
"To do one or two things for myself, you know. And I think I've actually learned my lesson. Yes. I actually learned a lot. Trust me, I learned a lot. During my little stay in Nigeria, I've actually learned a lot. But my advice to others, Nigeria is our home..."

"How much was your plan to set up a business? And do you really do business feasibility? You wanted everything quickly, but at least you need to rest for 2–3 months before setting up a business. Put the upcoming keeping money aside. It’s good that you have the opportunity to come back."

"Someone finally said it. Nigeria is not the same you left it. The situation there right now is like no amount you save will be enough! The inflation is crazy! Starting up a business is not even the issue, maintaining the business is a big challenge! Not much profit coming in! Visit home, yes, invest in landed properties, visit as often as you can. Then maybe retire home in the future when you’re substantially ready. It's not easy, May God help everyone in diaspora."

"It will be difficult because you guys believe you have options. A lot of our friends even including my own blood brother that were deported are doing well. Aren't you see big bsinesses and mansions built by the kocal business people. It's just because you have the options otherwise you would have carefully managed your resources. Nice to see you back anyway, better future ahead."

Man relocates home after 30 years overseas
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a man who lived abroad for 30 years had relocated home with just N2.9 million and was unable to complete his house.
He was living in the UK with his wife, who worked as a lecturer. They both worked hard and bought some properties.
However, he said they later sold the properties they bought around 2007 due to the global financial meltdown that happened then. After 30 years of living in the UK, they decided to return home. When they were coming home, they had only £1500 (N2.9 million).
