A businessman has cried out for help one year after the death of his business partner, who lent him N12 million to support his business.

The businessman shared his worry in an anonymous message sent to Facebook user Rita Daniel.

Rita went public with the man's anonymous message, urging netizens to advise him.

Since the demise of his business partner a year ago, the man noticed that no member of his family has asked for the N12 million loan, suggesting that his late pal hadn't mention it to them.

According to the businessman, he was supposed to return the money after one year. His message read:

"Hello Rita, I feel safe sharing this here. Pls I need advice.
"I had a business partner that is late now. He borrowed me 12m to put in my business.
"I think he didn't tell any1 bcos it been 1yr now & non of d family member or wife have ask me.
"I was supposed 2 return d money after 1 year."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a lady had fought a widow after borrowing N1.2 million from her.

The widow, who was still grieving over the loss of her husband, had lent the friend N1.2 million just five days after his burial. She recounted how her friend's behaviour took an unexpected turn after the burial.

The friend not only refused to repay the loan in full but also resorted to physical altercation with her. Despite this painful experience, the widow rejoiced over her success, revealing that she had earned fifty times the amount she had lent in just one year.
