The Kidney for Life Relief Foundation, shaped by Efe Tommy’s personal journey through kidney failure and a life-changing transplant, was the emotional core of the evening. Efe’s story is one to inspire after struggling with kidney issues for two years before a successful transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Nigeria. This led to a celebration quickly and a powerful moment of reflection, a reminder of life’s fragility, resilience, and the urgent need for support in Nigeria’s kidney health ecosystem.
