In her Facebook post, Joy Charles Ekong said that she had initially admired Bambam's unique way of speaking, but felt that it had become exaggerated in her recent movie.

She further noted that if it continues, she may have to start skipping any movie that features Bambam in it.

In her words:

"I was one of those who initially commended Bambam for her feminine and eloquent way of speaking especially in omoni oboli love in every word. However, lately, I feel she’s been overdoing it. Her tendency to drag out words makes her scenes feel monotonous and, honestly, a bit exhausting to watch. Of course, this is my personal opinion, it might not be the same for everyone.

"I couldn’t even finish this movie because every time she appeared, her intonation and speech mannerisms became a major distraction for me. Bambam, we appreciated your unique speech style when it felt natural, but now it seems exaggerated. If this continues, I worry that some viewers like myself may start skipping movies you’re in, not because of your talent, but because of how your delivery affects the experience."

Naomi Edoamodu said:

"Seriously at some point i felt like which kind movie be this. The other woman was busy copying Bambam, of a truth she really need to improve on her speech. Even in some scenes it look as if she is seducing the opposite sexx with her speech."

"You're so right. Wen she's supposed to demonstrate anger, arrogance, she does that ajebutter, soft girl stuff. Too much of everything is bad. She and Maurice Sam are on this table."

"What you just said, I agree. The girl don dey too vex me Joy Charles Ekong. Yes, everyone applauds her for being soft but at this point, it's too much. She will drag her words, expressions on top of that. I have also noticed the way she throws herself at the guys she is being pair with in movies. I don't enjoy the movie she features in and for Love in Every Word movie, it was over hyped, I don't really see what made it gain so much views and hyped."

Ejoke added:

"If you watched her on the big brother show, you'd know that's how she speaks but I agree that she needs to push herself a little bit more so she can deliver other roles better."
