A Nigerian lady named Mary has mourned the death of a young dried fish seller, Ifesinachi Onyekesi, also known as Fish Magnet.

Punch reported that some assailants abducted Fish Magnet after invading his residence in Ezinifite community, Okpuno, Awka South LGA of Anambra State in a late-night attack and whisked him away in his car.

While mourning the deceased, Mary said they grew up together and shared the name he was called in the neighbourhood.

On her X page, @Marylinbeckas said since Fish Magnet’s death was announced, she had always felt like she knew him.

When she realised it was her neighbour whom she had grown up with, she stated that he was called Bobo in the neighbourhood.

Mary also added that he was the only son of his mum, whom they referred to as Mummy Chidera.

The lady said her realisation made the pain of his death hit her differently.

She said:

“Fish magnet’s death has been trending for days now. 4every time I see a post abt it, something tells me Mary, u know this guy. I wasn’t wrong. I actually knw him. That was Bobo, d only son of mummy Chidera. We grew up together until dey relocated. Now this pain hits differently.”

Aside from the X user, another businessman on Facebook, Udegbunam Charles Ifeanyi, also mourned the fish farmer and shared what Fish Magnet owed him before his death.

On his Facebook page, Ifeanyi, who was also into fish farming, said he met the late entrepreneur in 2015 and described him as a jolly good fellow.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a lady, George Esther Chinonye, who had patronised the late businessman before his death, shared what she had observed about his business on Facebook.
