NYSC Lady Who Was Not Retained Applies for Job Directly to PPA Headquarters, Gets Employed

A Nigerian lady was left heartbroken after her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) because she was not retained at her PPA.
According to the lady, she expected to be retained to work at her place of primary assignment, but it did not happen.

In a video she posted, the lady, @setah_joan said she was not retained and she was not happy about it.
Instead of giving up and going home, she decided to apply for the job directly to the headquarters of her place of primary assignment.
Fortunately for her, she got the job. She wrote:
"Life so private nobody knew I wasn't retained after NYSC. I was so heartbroken. But I took a bold step and applied directly to the company's headquarters... and by God's grace, I got the job! Lamentations 3:37 “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?” What God can not do does not exist."

Lady uses NYSC allowance for visa application
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady said she used all the allowance she was paid during her NYSC to process her visa application.

However, she said she got rejected, and all the money she saved during her service year was wasted for nothing.
She posted the story on X, where it is getting a lot of reactions, as many people noted that she took a lot of risks with the money.
She wrote:
"I didn’t touch my NYSC allowance at all. At the time, I was working with a company, and I would take out ₦200 from my salary, then add it to the allowance to make it ₦20,000.
"I used that money to start processing my U.S. master’s application, paying for the application fee, sending transcripts, and other related costs. In the end, my visa was denied. Every single dime wasted. I cried ehn. I even added money because it was not enough tbh."
Lady shares list of companies that pay NYSC members
In a related story reported by Legit.ng, a Nigerian lady shared a post on X about corporate organisations that accept National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.
She said the organisations accept corps members posted in Lagos and also pay them salary during their one year of service.
The companies listed include UAC, Deloitte and IKEDC and a recruitment expert also told Legit.ng that there are other companies that pay NYSC members.
