New session commencement date announced
The new session is expected to commence on February 2, 2026, across all Nigerian Law School campuses. These include the headquarters in Abuja as well as the Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola and Port Harcourt centres.
Eligibility for the programme is restricted to Nigerian law graduates from accredited universities and foreign-trained law graduates who have successfully completed and passed the Bar Course at the Nigerian Law School.
Applicants are instructed to visit the school’s website for full application guidelines.
The management explained that only candidates whose academic records have been officially forwarded to the Law School by their respective university registrars will be able to proceed with applications.
Candidates are therefore advised to confirm this with their institutions before making payments, as the application fee is non-refundable.
Management gives strict conditions for admission
According to the statement, completed forms along with references must be downloaded, filled, and returned through the applicant’s Dean of Law to the Nigerian Law School by the October 31 deadline.

Candidates seeking re-admission or clearance from referral cases are to apply through the designated “re-admission” section on the portal, attach their clearance or approval letters, and forward all required documents to the office of the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration at the headquarters before the same closing date.
The statement made it clear that late applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
Applicants were also advised to keep their unique application numbers safe as they will be required to access admission status and other related updates.
This development sets the tone for the next academic calendar of the Nigerian Law School, regarded as the final stage of training for aspiring lawyers in the country.
