FCT, Abuja - The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government has launched a website to recruit and train 100,000 Nigerian youths annually.

The youths will be trained in financial literacy, global trade, entrepreneurship, and investing.

The training programme will be done in collaboration with Investonaire Academy.

The Director, Information & Public Relations, Ministry of Youth Development, Mrs. Omolara Esan, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja.

As reported by the Nigerian Tribune, Esan said registration has commenced for a nationwide free financial education programme.

She disclosed that:

“Registration is free of charge and now open via www.investonaire.org.”

Esan disclosed that participants would be taken through a comprehensive and practical learning platform.

She said the training programme will cover global asset classes such as commodities, gold, equities, and foreign exchange, among others.

“By expanding access to financial education, the programme aims to transform lives, improve employability, and promote sustainable wealth creation across the country.
“Through this collaboration, participants would benefit from a comprehensive and practical learning platform covering global asset classes such as commodities, gold, equities, and foreign exchange, alongside training in risk management, portfolio development, and wealth-building strategies.
“Graduates of the programme will receive an industry-recognized certificate, supporting career advancement and entrepreneurial growth.”

According to Esan, the programme would be delivered through an engaging Learning Management System (LMS) that integrates gamified learning, simulations, quizzes, and real-world trading scenarios, making financial education accessible and interactive.

Esan further stated that in-person training sessions would also commence in Abuja shortly, with expansion to other states to follow.

“The initiative is open to all Nigerian youths, including students, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, entrepreneurs, job seekers, and young professionals across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory."

FG opens portal to train, employ jobless Nigerian youth

Recall that the National Directorate of Employment began digital registration for Phase Two of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative.

Nigerians aged 18–45 with a valid NIN can apply for free vocational and digital skills training tailored to their state’s needs.

The registration runs from July 28 to August 11, 2025, with officials warning against fraud and stressing that no payment is required.
