FCT, Abuja - As religious and prayerful as many Nigerians are, the country is not the number one with people who pray the most each day.

Indonesia tops the list of countries where people pray the most each day in the world.

According to the Survey Pew Research Center & World Bank, Indonesia scored 95% to occupy the first position.

Nigeria with fellow African country, Kenya, occupied the second position with 84%.

Two other Asian countries, Malaysia, scored 80% and the Philippines scored 79% to complete the top positions.

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, reacted to the list after Nigeria surprisingly missed the number position.

Reacting via X handle X @ShehuSani, he said Nigeria and Kenya share the Silver medal.

Top 9 Most Prayerful Countries in the World

Recall that the list of the world's most prayerful countries on earth in 2023 emerged with Afghanistan and Nigeria in the top spot.

In what could be described as a surprise, a new report by the Pew Research Centre showed Afghanistan ahead of Nigeria as the world's most prayerful country on earth.
