Tinubu: Use influence for unity, not division

The president urged creators and online influencers to think beyond likes and trends, and instead use their platforms to inspire, employ, and unite others, Vanguard reported.

“Build businesses that employ others, create content that uplifts, and use your influence to foster unity, not division. Verify before you amplify," Tinubu said.

He warned that unchecked content and misinformation could harm national cohesion and security, and called for a renewed commitment to truth and accountability in digital spaces.

Patriotism is action, not performance, says Tinubu

President Tinubu also reminded the audience that patriotism is not about slogans or political drama, but about tangible contributions to nation-building.

“Every app you design, every story you tell, every brand you build, is a statement to the world about who we are and what we stand for as a nation,” he said.
