Nigerians flooded the official Instagram page of popular Yoruba actress Peju Ogunmola to mourn and console her.
Peju, the daughter of late veteran actor Kola Ogunmola, lost her only child, Oluwasinaayomi, on Tuesday, September 2.

Oluwasinaayomi, a singer, was the only child of Ogunmola, whom she had with her husband, veteran comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, also known as Papi Luwe.
Nollywood stars like Odunlade Adekola and Femi Adebayo, among others, also confirmed the sad news.
While the cause of his death and the location of his passing remained unknown at the time this report was published, Peju's last birthday message to her son quickly gained attention online.

In her 2024 birthday message, the Nollywood actress expressed her love for her son, accompanied by a heartfelt promise.
"Happy birthday to my amazing son @ayomeekun I’m so happy to be in your life as your mother,Yes! You’re a little older, but still my baby boy. May you make the absolute most out of this year and get absolutely everything you want in God’s name🙏❤️. I love you till death my darling son!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU OLUWASINAAYOMI."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a viral clip of Peju Ogunmola on a movie set was shared online.
The video showed Peju with a male colleague in a village setting. However, while the movie shoot was going on, her colleague, who was acting his role, pointed a gun towards the veteran actress and fired a shot at her.
