The late Raji Samad Adetola, aalso known as Sanku, has continued to make waves on social media after his death as his mother dispelled rumours about his involvement in rituals in a trending video.

Legit.ng reported on Monday, September 1, that Sanku lost his life in a ghastly car accident, stirring reactions on social media.

Following his death, there were rumours linking the skit maker and content creator to rituals. It was alleged that Sanku had gotten himself involved in spiritual things in a bid to become popular.

Debunking the rumours, the heartbroken mother defended her son in a trending video, stating that he didn't use spiritual items.

She disclosed that he was always requesting prayers from her.

"You can’t give him any spiritual item that he will ever use. He always says it’s my prayers that are working for him. He always says I should keep on praying.
"My son didn’t do anything spiritual. He knows no herbalists whatsoever. I’ve been hearing what everyone has been saying that he might’ve done something spiritual.
"My son didn’t go anywhere or do any form of rituals," she said, speaking in the Yoruba language.

Sanku's mother also recalled how he had promised to invite her over to his place and had sent her money to buy foodstuffs before his sudden death.
