"VDM to be blamed": Izzy Ogbeide blasts critic over Phyna's sister's death, takes unusual action

Public speaker demands accountability for Dangote truck deaths

Public speaker and author, Anuoluwapo Lebi, has called for urgent accountability over the recurring tragedies linked to Dangote trucks, including the recent death of Ruth Otabor, younger sister of BBNaija star Phyna.

“Since Ruth’s ordeal, neither the Federal Government nor the Edo State Government has issued a single official statement. This silence highlights the travesty of governance in Nigeria and the entrenched mediocrity that sacrifices human lives for the comfort of the elite,” Lebi told Legit.ng.

He described the norm surrounding treatment of victims’ families:

“Instead of compensation for victims, we get abandoned families.”

Raising further concern, Lebi asked:

“How many more Nigerians must be wasted on the altar of Dangote-linked trailers before the government calls him to order?”
