Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has retracted her statement and made a public apology over a recent video where she made some accusations about the Yorubas

The reality star, who has been battling personal challenges, including her sister’s recent involvement in a ghastly accident, in the clip, alleged that Yoruba boys damaged her car after she refused to give them money.

Reacting hours later, Phyna took to social media to eat her words.

She admitted that the comment was made out of anger and frustration, and was not intended to malign the Yoruba people.

She wrote:

“I must say I let my anger get the best of me with the tweets I made earlier. It’s just a whole lot going on, plus having to fix the scratches and replace what was taken from the windshield of my car"

According to her, the damage could have been done by “anybody from any tribe,” stressing that she is not biased against any ethnic group
