Content creator and self-proclaimed financial expert Geh Geh has finally reacted to the moves to ban his online university, known as "Geh Geh University of Wisdom.

Legit.ng recalls reporting that a coalition of Nigerian academics, students, alumni, and concerned citizens petitioned the National Universities Commission (NUC) to ban Geh Geh University and other parody universities from social media.

The coalition wrote to the NUC to step in and regulate comedians and content creators who included the word "university" in their brands.

According to the coalition, while "Geh Geh University" and "Blessing CEO University" may seem harmless, they could water down the credibility of real tertiary institutions that Nigerians work hard to gain admission into.

Geh Geh reacts to petition

The self-proclaimed financial expert described the petition against his "online university" and others as heartbreaking.

In a message to his fans and supporters, Geh Geh called on Nigerians to beg President Bola Tinubu on his behalf.
