Lojay Finally Speaks on Bond With Davido's Cousin, Folashade Adeleke: “Nothing More”

But the Monalisa crooner has finally set the record straight.

In a recent interview, Lojay described Folashade as his “best friend” and nothing more.

He stated:

“Fola is literally my best friend. From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different. She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew, and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since."

When asked if their friendship could ever evolve into something deeper, the singer quickly dismissed the idea.

He explained:

“Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Some people assume that means you’re messing around, but that’s not my reality. Sometimes, people genuinely need time to heal from past experiences, and that’s where I am right now."

Lojay speaks on music career

Legit.ng earlier reported that Lojay, in a recent interview, discussed his music and career.

The singer shared a bit of his story during the interview. According to him, rich kids do not have an edge in the music industry, as Nigerians enjoy rich-shaming them.

Lojay continued by adding that talent is what speaks for you as a privileged individual, and that's why he is confident in his abilities. Stating further, she shared that his parents, although rich, do not have a hand in the success he has recorded so far as a music artist. He also shared that he has never done 'Payola' for his music.
