The TV host, who celebrated her 40th birthday a few months ago, had opened up about how being single made her feel.

A few months after her birthday, she also shared a video of her growing belly, gushing over herself and how God answered her prayer after her birthday.

In a reaction video, the clergy warned that Toke was wrong to have gotten pregnant outside of wedlock.

According to her, Makinwa claims to love God, but she is not practicing what God says. The clergy challenged her to represent God in a godly way and encouraged her to use her faith in God to find a husband.

The clergy also noted that Makinwa cannot be thanking God while simultaneously mocking him.

Clergy sends message to Toke's supporters

The clergy also sent a note of warning to those who have been congratulating the media personality. She criticized them, stating that their actions reflect what is wrong. She added that they are celebrating something wrong because Toke Makinwa became pregnant out of wedlock.

Fans shared their observation about the clergy, a few stated that she too was born out of wedlock and added that she demanded money from them just to speak over their live.

Recall that Toke Makinwa had an elaborate thanksgiving celebration in 2024, during which she spoke about God and invited gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori to perform.

Toke Makinwa seen in the market

Legit.ng had reported that a video of how Makinwa was treated in a market on the island had surfaced online.

In the clip, three celebrities, Toyin Abraham, Toke Makinwa and Odunlade were passing at Idumota market on the island and the recording trended online.

Market women could easily identify Odunlade and Abraham but shunned Makinwa as some were seen asking to know her identity.
