Recalling a scenario from November 6, 2022, the Marlian boss stated that Mohbad sent him bank account details to make a payment that he needed for his treatment.

Women criticise Mohbad, his mother-in-law

During the live session, the women argued that it was wrong for Mohbad to receive payments via his mother-in-law's account when he had relatives who could also help.

One woman argued that Wunmi wouldn't have allowed Mohbad to receive money from Naira Marley using bank details from his family members.

While some speculated that voodoo might have been involved, they stressed that Mohbad's father, Joseph Aloba, was right to be unhappy with Wunmi's family.

"What if the boss didn't insist that he wouldn't be paid into the girlfriend's mother's account, so they would continue collecting the money to date?" a woman asked.

Recall that after Mohbad's death, the singer's father revealed that the singer had bought lands through his mother-in-law.
