Skitmaker Accuses Egungun Over ₦50m Deal: “He Used & Dumped Me”

• Skit maker Kunle Botanical claimed Egungun made ₦50 million from their joint video, but gave him only ₦20k

A Nigerian content creator, Kunle Botanical, has publicly called out fellow skit maker Kuye Adegoke aka Egungun of Lagos for alleged betrayal and backstabbing.

In a recent interview with media personality Akin Abolade, Kunle opened up about how he was left bitter and disappointed after a collaborative project he claims to have created and directed allegedly earned Egungun millions, without proper credit or compensation.

Recalling the ordeal, Kunle said the incident happened in 2023 when he came up with the idea for a viral video and worked on it from start to finish.

“I scripted and directed a video content with Egungun; the only thing he did was just post it on his page"

To his shock, the video reportedly earned Egungun over ₦50 million, while Kunle claimed he received only a meagre ₦20,000 in return.

He added:

“He said that was for the stress I went through."

The betrayal, according to Kunle, didn’t end with money. He also accused Egungun, who recently bought a new car, of sabotaging his relationship with crossdresser Bobrisky.

Recall that Bobrisky gifted Kunle a car after he tattooed the socialite’s face on his body. However, things quickly went south with Bobrisky calling Kunle ungrateful.

Now, Kunle claimed it was Egungun’s manipulations that led to the fallout.

He said:

“When someone who is close to you goes ahead to spoil you in front of your helper, your helper can go ahead to hate the person. Because of my issue with Egungun, he went ahead to spoil me in front of Bobrisky.”

In his caption, he stated that she deserved it all and that she should use the car to take their daughter to school.
