He wrote:

“I drove from Anambra to Arochukwu, Abia State. I saw so many obituary posters. Too many early and untimely deaths"

But instead of pointing fingers at the government or society, Yul, who recently faced backlash over his warning to Igbos, believes Nigerians themselves are to blame for abandoning their ancestral ways.

He declared:

“It is because we abandoned our traditional ways. Our ancestors and spirits are angry"

He believed the only way to stop the rising tide of death and misfortune was to go back to traditional religion.

He said:

“We must go to our traditional religion, align with our ancestors and spirits, and they will fight our battles"

In his view, the more Nigerians chase foreign ideologies and neglect African spirituality, the more disconnected they become from divine protection.
