Nollywood actor and comic star Okon of Lagos has weighed in on the 2027 political race, and as usual, he didn’t hold back.

Coalition just vibes without Obi

In a post shared on Instagram, the Nollywood star described the coalition as a gathering of frustrated politicians trying to find relevance, and claimed that the entire agenda hinges on one person: Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate.

Peter Obi reacts to allegation of coup plot to remove Tinubu, "red lines"

He wrote:

“The coalition is a synthesis of out-of-favor politicians, disgruntled Buharists, and seemingly marginalized politically entitled Northerners”

His words refer to the likes of Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, and Rotimi Amaechi, who, along with Obi, unveiled the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the platform of their coalition in June 2025.

But Okon wasn’t convinced the alliance could go far without a clear direction and a strong front-runner.

What got many people talking was Okon’s graphic metaphor about the coalition’s dependency on Peter Obi.

He posted.

“In all they do, they should realize they are like a very big and attractive manhood, and Peter Obi is their er*ction. A big manhood is useless without the capacity to be erect.”
