The online drama surrounding the alleged group chat created after the death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, has escalated.
Recall that VDM claimed that Iyabo Ojo said she had a vendetta against Naira Marley because of what he allegedly did to her daughter.

According to VDM, Iyabo Ojo allegedly told someone that the singer had drugged her daughter and forcefully slept with her.
These claims triggered many reactions from online users, including Naira Marley, who has reacted to the serious accusations.
He expressed his anger and hurt online, declaring that people would suffer before they die, in their graves, and in the afterlife.

Naira Marley responds to Iyabo Ojo claims
The Marlian Music boss and singer is seemingly not finished sharing cryptic posts on his social media accounts.
The Soapy singer quoted a verse from the Holy Quran on the danger of fake news and the actions that should be taken.
In the quote, it was advised to verify news verification before harming innocent people unknowingly and later regretting one's actions.
His post read:
"O believers, if an evildoer brings you any news, verify "it' so you do not harm people unknowingly, becoming regretful for what you have done. (Quran 49:6)"

Many fans and followers of Naira Marley are happy that he has finally found his voice after a traumatic battle following the death of Mohbad in September 2023.
The singer has stated that he knows nothing about the death of his former signee.
Meanwhile, some social media users reacted with a contrary Quranic quote in response to his post.
Online threats are prosecutable crimes - Lawyer warns
Media and entertainment lawyer, Barrister Justin Ige, has stated that celebrities involved in online conflicts that escalate into threats have legal grounds to seek protection under Nigerian law.
He told Legit.ng:
"Where threats are involved, as seen in conflicts like Iyabo Ojo and Naira Marley’s case, a formal petition to the police or complaint to regulatory authorities such as the National Human Rights Commission may be filed.”
He, however, emphasised that Nigeria’s legal system treats such issues seriously:
"Threats to life or incitement to violence are criminal offenses under Nigerian law, and such acts are prosecutable.”
VDM investigates Aloma over Mohbad group comment
Legit.ng also reported that VeryDarkMan had acted after Jigan and other members of the group refused to make the contents public.
The critic, in a new video, shared a screen recording of conversations in the group, calling out Jigan, Aloma, Dre DMW, and Tonto Dikeh.
VDM also singled out Aloma over a statement he made, demanding a detailed explanation, as the controversy about the group intensifies.
